DESCRIPTION Knowing the sounds that letters make is the backbone of early literacy. Add these cards and games to your literacy programme and see how quickly your students begin to learn their letter sounds and transfer it into their reading and writing. You will find in this packet an A4-sized alphabet card with letters and fun images that start with matching sounds. The alphabet card shows lowercase and uppercase letters so children can learn to identify and match them. The included A4 blend card shows double consonant blends with a matching image that starts with the blend. It also shows digraphs (in blue) and tri-blends in red. At the beginning of the lesson I read the card for the week with the students and talk about what it will look like when they are doing it.
